At Global Hunting Solutions, we strive to provide a seamless and professional hunting experience. To ensure smooth booking and operations, please carefully review our Payment & Cancellation Policy before confirming your hunt.
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your hunt. Deposits may be paid via personal or business check, provided payment is received at least 30days prior to the hunt.
- Balance Due: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the scheduled hunt. No 30-day reminder will be issued, so please mark your calendar accordingly
- Failure to Pay: If the final balance is not received by the 30-day deadline, your hunt may be canceled, and any previously paid fees may be forfeited
- On-Site Payments: Any additional fees incurred during the hunt (e.g., trophy fees for additional animals) must be paid before departure via cash or credit card. No exceptions.
- Credit Card Payments: A 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit card transactions. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express
- Deposits are non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule, your deposit may be transferred to a future hunt date within 12 months, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the scheduled hunt may qualify for a partial refund at Global Hunting Solutions’ discretion.
- Cancellations within 30 days of the hunt will result in forfeiture of all payments made.
- No-shows or last-minute cancellations will result in 100% loss of all fees paid.
- Weather-Related Cancellations: If a hunt must be rescheduled due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances as determined by Global Hunting Solutions, we will work with you to set a new date. Refunds will not be issued for weather delays, but we will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling.
- Force Majeure: Global Hunting Solutions is not responsible for cancellations or delays due to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, rescheduling options will be provided, but refunds will not be issued.
- Hunts may be rescheduled once without penalty if notice is given at least 30 days in advance and must be rebooked within 12 months
- Rescheduled hunts are subject to availability and current pricing at the time of rebooking.

Aoudad & Axis Deer Hunting – Frequently Asked Questions
Our hunts are conducted on 15,000+ acres of private, free-range ranch land in West Texas. These remote, rugged properties offer excellent trophy potential, low hunting pressure, and a true spot-and-stalk experience.
Yes. Both Aoudad (Barbary Sheep) and Axis deer are hunted in true free-range conditions—no high fences. This is real hunting, where skill, glassing, and persistence pay off.
- Aoudad: Prime hunting is October through March, during cooler months when rams are more active and visible.
- Axis deer: Axis rut typically peaks May through August, but they can be hunted year-round due to their non-native status.
Most hunts are 3 to 5 days, with options to extend or combine both species into one trip. We recommend 4 days for Aoudad due to the rugged terrain and spot-and-stalk method.

For Aoudad: A .270, 7mm, .308, or .300 Win Mag is ideal for shooting in windy, open terrain at longer ranges (200–400 yards).
For Axis deer: .243, .270, 6.5 Creedmoor, or similar work great for shots in brush or open flats.
Yes. Combo hunts are very popular and offer a chance to take both species in one trip. We tailor the itinerary based on seasonal timing and activity patterns.
- Aoudad hunts are rugged, involving hiking, climbing, and glassing in mountainous terrain.
- Axis hunts typically take place in rolling hills, brush country, and open flats.
We can accommodate hunters of various physical abilities, but Aoudad hunts do require moderate fitness.
Absolutely. We offer comfortable accommodations and non-hunting guests are welcome to join you in camp or on the hunt. It’s a great opportunity for couples or parent-child trips.
Most clients fly into San Angelo, Midland, or San Antonio, Texas and rent a car. Pickup is included if flying into San Angelo (KSJT) and detailed driving directions will be provided upon booking.
Your guide will cape and prepare your trophy for transport. We can refer you to trusted taxidermists or assist with freezing and shipping to your taxidermist of choice.
