Plains Game Safari – South Africa
- Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg.
- Meet & Assist: A Global Hunting Solutions representative will greet you upon arrival to assist with firearms clearance and provide private ground transfer.
- Evening: Check in to a luxury airport lodge or hotel. Join your group and professional hunting team for a welcome dinner to review the itinerary, finalize gear, and get to know your fellow hunters.
Hunting Itinerary Options
Days 1–6: Kimberley Plains Game Hunting
- Morning flight (private or commercial) to Kimberley.
- Hunt a private concession just 20 minutes from the airport, known for its expansive savannahs, thriving wildlife, and responsible game management.
Target Species May Include:
Springbok, Blesbok, Gemsbok, Red Hartebeest, Blue & Black Wildebeest, Cape Buffalo, Zebra, Warthog, Kudu, Roan, Sable, and more.
Daily Schedule (Typical):
- 7:00 AM: Wake-up & coffee at the lodge
- 7:30 AM: Full breakfast
- 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Morning hunt
- 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Return for lunch & midday rest2:30 PM – Sundown: Afternoon hunt
- Evening: Relax with sundowners, hors d’oeuvres, and a three-course South African dinner. End the evening fireside, swapping stories under the stars.
Day 7: Fly back to Johannesburg. Overnight near the airport or connect directly with your international flight, depending on timing.
Days 1–10: Kimberley Hunting
- Extended time in the Kimberley region allows for selectivity and specialty trophy pursuit.
- Open plains provide excellent opportunities for long-range shooting and glassing.
Daily flow mirrors the 7-day safari, with longer hunts and more flexibility built in for those targeting a large number or high-quality trophies.
Evenings feature local wines, gourmet meals, and great company at the lodge.
Day 10: Return to Johannesburg and depart.

- Slow things down and fully immerse in the terrain.
- Time to target smaller or elusive species like Steenbok, Caracal, or Jackal.

At Global Hunting Solutions, we strive to provide a seamless and professional hunting experience. To ensure smooth booking and operations, please carefully review our Payment & Cancellation Policy before confirming your hunt.
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your hunt. Deposits may be paid via personal or business check, provided payment is received at least 30days prior to the hunt.
- Balance Due: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the scheduled hunt. No 30-day reminder will be issued, so please mark your calendar accordingly
- Failure to Pay: If the final balance is not received by the 30-day deadline, your hunt may be canceled, and any previously paid fees may be forfeited
- On-Site Payments: Any additional fees incurred during the hunt (e.g., trophy fees for additional animals) must be paid before departure via cash or credit card. No exceptions.
- Credit Card Payments: A 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit card transactions. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express
- Deposits are non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule, your deposit may be transferred to a future hunt date within 12 months, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the scheduled hunt may qualify for a partial refund at Global Hunting Solutions’ discretion.
- Cancellations within 30 days of the hunt will result in forfeiture of all payments made.
- No-shows or last-minute cancellations will result in 100% loss of all fees paid.
- Weather-Related Cancellations: If a hunt must be rescheduled due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances as determined by Global Hunting Solutions, we will work with you to set a new date. Refunds will not be issued for weather delays, but we will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling.
- Force Majeure: Global Hunting Solutions is not responsible for cancellations or delays due to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, rescheduling options will be provided, but refunds will not be issued.
- Hunts may be rescheduled once without penalty if notice is given at least 30 days in advance and must be rebooked within 12 months
- Rescheduled hunts are subject to availability and current pricing at the time of rebooking.
